FluidPowerIQ Terms & Conditions
Effective September 22, 2026. These terms cover beta access and optional text support. Agreeing to these terms does not itself authorize text messages; you make that choice separately on the access request form.
Beta Access And Engineering Use
Beta access is personal, subject to PJ’s approval, and may change, pause, expire, or end. FluidPowerIQ provides preliminary sizing and product-selection aids for evaluation. Results may be incomplete, incorrect, or based on assumptions that do not match your application. Before selecting, purchasing, installing, or operating equipment, you are responsible for independently checking every input, calculation, rating, model code, and manufacturer document against current specifications and actual operating conditions. FluidPowerIQ does not replace professional engineering judgment, manufacturer approval, or required safety review.
Your Account And Feedback
Keep your login private and use the beta lawfully. Do not enter confidential customer, project, or personal information into beta inputs or support messages. If you report an issue or suggest an improvement, FluidPowerIQ may use that feedback to improve the service without identifying you publicly.
Availability And Limits
The beta may change or be unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or error-free results. FluidPowerIQ is not responsible for equipment decisions made without the independent checks described above. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Optional SMS Support
If you separately choose Yes to SMS and provide a mobile number, you authorize FluidPowerIQ to text that number about your account and support requests when SMS service is available. We will not use this choice for marketing texts. Message frequency varies with your requests and account activity; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You may also email pj@fluidpoweriq.com. Text consent is optional and is not required for beta access. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
FluidPowerIQ collects your name, email address, optional company, professional role, mobile number if you choose SMS, access requests, and support messages to operate the beta and respond to you. Account records include email verification, approvals, access periods, session status, and the date, terms version, and SMS choice recorded with each access request. PJ can review these records and approve or revoke access.
If you choose SMS, Twilio processes your phone number and message information to deliver texts. We use mobile information for account and support messages, not marketing, and do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their marketing. Essential cookies keep you signed in; browser storage may retain calculator inputs on your device after sign-out. The marketing site is hosted by Bluehost, the beta application through ChatGPT Sites, and email through the configured website email service.
